Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is the highest governance and oversight body of the Rivers State Primary Health Care Management Board. It provides strategic leadership, policy direction, and institutional oversight to ensure the effective delivery of primary health care services across Rivers State. The Board is chaired by a Chairman and comprises members appointed by the Executive Governor of Rivers State, subject to confirmation by the Rivers State House of Assembly.

Membership of the Board reflects broad stakeholder representation and includes nominees drawn from:
- The public sector
- The Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON)
- Recognised health professional bodies
- Labour organisations
- Relevant ministries, departments, parastatals, and agencies

Roles and Responsibilities
The Board of Trustees is responsible for:
